某天下午，我突然想到一部很久以前看過的電影-Never Ending Story，詳細的劇情早就因為年代久遠而不可考了，不過依稀記得是某個小鬼不知從何處得到了一本故事書，這本故事書名就叫Never Ending Story。這個小鬼禁不住書名的誘惑，打開封面打算看個究竟，結果卻跑進書中，成了故事的主角，在某個神奇的世界裡經歷一場冒險。劇情大概就是如此吧。

後來，這部電影好像賣座不錯，於是又陸續推出了第二集和第三集，不過好像成績就沒有第一集那麼耀眼。不過這並不是重點。其實，我真正想寫的是這部電影的主題曲。

我一直記得這部電影的主題曲旋律，那時候沒看過這部電影，可是卻在看到錄音帶封面之後，就從唱片行把這張專輯給帶回家了。當時專輯封面就是畫了這隻在故事裡稱為魔龍的生物，以及一個小男孩。我也不記得為什麼當時會因為這樣的專輯封面而被吸引，不過我倒是從沒後悔當初買下這張專輯的決定。

主要原因當然是裡面的歌曲及配樂都很好聽，第二個原因則是，這張專輯的所有歌曲，都能夠帶給我想像的畫面。在我買了這張專輯之後許久，我都不曾看過電影，可是我卻可以憑藉著音樂帶給我的畫面，以及自己一點點的想像力，加以幻想出一齣屬於我自己的「永不結束的故事 」。

不過這張專輯由於是錄音帶，所以在CD唱盤普及化的今日，我根本就找不到適合的裝置可以聆聽這張專輯。還好科技雖然淘汰了錄音帶，卻也誕生了網際網路這種東西，於是在網路的幫助下，我找到了主題曲的mp3檔案。也讓我重溫了許久沒聽到的這首歌和那從未結束的故事。
